Is Etalon soft enough for sensitive gums?

Yes. The 360° micro-spiral PBT filaments are designed to flex around the gumline and clean gently, which is why we recommend it for sensitive gums and everyday use. As with any brush, use light pressure and let the filaments do the work rather than scrubbing hard.

What does the 360° spiral filament design actually do?

Each PBT filament is shaped as a micro-spiral, so bristle contact wraps around the tooth surface and into the gum margin from multiple angles instead of hitting it head-on. The aim is thorough plaque removal in daily brushing without the harshness of stiff, straight-cut bristles.

Why PBT filaments instead of ordinary nylon?

PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) holds its shape and resists water absorption better than standard nylon, so the filaments stay resilient and dry faster between uses. In practice that means the bristle tips keep their form longer over the life of the brush.

How often should I replace it?

Replace it roughly every 3 months, or sooner if the filaments start to splay or lose their spiral shape — frayed bristles clean less effectively and can be rougher on the gums. Rinse and air-dry it upright after each use to keep the filaments in good condition.
