Will this brush actually clean around my brackets and wires?

Yes — that is what it is built for. The compact round head fits into the tight spaces around brackets, and the spiral silk PBT filaments are tapered to slip under the archwire and along the bracket edges where a flat bristle head skips over.

How is this different from a normal toothbrush for someone with braces?

A standard brush head is too broad and flat to follow the contours of your appliance, so plaque builds at the bracket margins. The zero uses a smaller round head plus spiral silk PBT bristles specifically shaped to reach under and around the hardware.

Do I still need interdental brushes if I use this?

For most people, yes. The zero handles the tooth surfaces and bracket edges; the spaces directly beneath the wire and between teeth are best finished with an interdental brush, so treat the two as complementary rather than one replacing the other.

Are the spiral silk PBT filaments gentle on my gums and brackets?
